Samedi 29 mai Chapitre
La matinée a débuté par une Eucharistie à 8 heures, présidée par le supérieur de la maison, Otmar Strzoda. Les capitulants ont ensuite été invités à voter sur le rythme des scrutins qui auront lieu lundi prochain pour l'élection d'un Supérieur général. Ils ont été unanimes à accepter quatre scrutins par jour, deux le matin et deux l'après-midi. Il n'y aura pas d'autres travaux que ces scrutins pendant l'élection.
Ensuite et pendant plus de trois heures, avec seulement 15 minutes de repos, chaque groupe a présenté le thème qu'il avait à étudier sur la gestion des ressources humaines de la Société. Nous vous rappelons ces trois thèmes, mais sans développer les réponses apportées et discutées ensuite en assemblée plénière. En effet, chaque groupe aura à retravailler son texte pour en faire une proposition qui sera soumise au vote de l'assemblée plus tard dans le Chapitre.
Voici donc ces trois thèmes :
1. Gestion du personnel, nomination et planning
2. Ministères aux confrères, addictions et difficultés
3. Vie de communauté et cohérence avec notre appel
Les activités du Chapitre reprendront lundi matin avec l'élection du Supérieur général. Entre temps, les capitulants continuent à `échanger entre eux pour s'éclairer mutuellement sur le meilleur choix à faire au cours de cette élection.
En fin d'après-midi, plusieurs sont partis visiter le PISAI et termineront la soirée par une Eucharistie et un repas à la résidence de la Communauté Sant'Egidio. La Communauté de Sant'Egidio est une organisation catholique fondée en 1968 à dans les locaux de l'église Sant'Egidio du quartier de Trastevere, tout près du PISAI. Elle a été reconnue officiellement comme Association internationale de laïques par l'Église catholique en 1986. Elle est très active aussi bien sur le plan social (lutte contre la pauvreté, actions contre la peine de mort, éducation, insertion) que sur le plan diplomatique. Elle a l'habitude d'inviter les évêques de passage à Rome et maintenant c'est à notre tour.

CHAPTER 2010 SATURDAY 29th MAYThe morning began with the Eucharist at 8 o'clock, where Otmar Strzoda, Superior of the House, was the main celebrant. The Capitulants were then invited to vote on the series of ballots that will take place on Monday for the election of the Superior General. They were unanimous in agreeing to four ballots a day, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. There will be no other activities than these ballots during the election.
1. Management of personnel, appointment and planning
2. Ministry to confreres, addictions and difficulties
3. Community life and consistent with our calling
The activities of the Chapter will resume on Monday morning with the election of the Superior General. In the meantime, the Capitulants continue to discuss among themselves to enlighten one another as to the best choice to make in the course of this election.
At the end of the afternoon, several set off to visit the PISAI and will end the evening with a Eucharist and meal at the residence of the Sant'Egidio Community. The Sant'Egidio Community is a Catholic organisation founded in 1968 on the premises of the Sant'Egidio Church in the Rome neighbourhood of Trastevere, quite close to the PISAI. Since 1986, it has been officially recognised as an International Lay Association by the Catholic Church. It is very active both on the social plane (campaigning against poverty, actions against the death penalty, in favour of education and integration), and in the diplomatic arena. It is customary for its members to invite bishops visiting Rome and now it is our turn.
