Jubilee celebrations in Great Britain
July 11th-15th 2011
| The Annual Reunion
of the Great Britain Sector and the Jubilee celebrations held last week
(July 11th-15th) at the Oblates Retreat Centre in Crewe. The celebration
Eucharist was celebrated by Fr Andre Simonart, Provincial of Europe, who
attended the Reunion for two days. Shown are Frs. John Lynch (50 years of
oath), Aylward Shorter (50 years of oath) and Jack Thora (60 years of oath).
Also remembered at the Reunion were Bro. Vincent Davies (50 years of oath), Bro. Trevor Robinson ( 50 years of oath), and Fr. Stan Dye (25 years of oath). We also remembered Fr John O’Donohue who would have celebrated 60 years of oath. John died at the end of March RIP. |
